Having fun with your husband
Those of you who've enjoyed some of my posts on loving your man may enjoy Crystal's post Lovin' That Man of Mine. Crystal encourages her readers to find ways to have fun with their husbands. This is another area where I know I could improve!
Thanks for sharing that link. That was a great article! One thing Dave and I have fun together doing is kayaking. Now that we own our own it has really helped with our relationship. It gives us much needed time away from the girls (not that we don't love our daughters...but...every couple needs to have "alone time" for fun on an adult level). We are also teaching our daughters to kayak but...it is a special activity for US! (we also have fun biking together...we just laugh and laugh and we love to "people" watch). Might sound weird..but..to us it's cheap fun!
That does sound like fun! I tis always good to get outdoors and enjoy God's creation together.
I think it is important to choose to enjoy things my husband enjoys, even if I wouldn't at first have thought of doing them! That is one way to start enjoying new things! Carolyn Mahaney mentions this in her book Feminine Appeal.
We love to have visitors, but there are many people we can't welcome into our home on a regular basis. We hope that this blog will provide a place where family, friends and strangers can "visit" with us and catch up on a little of what is going on at our house.
For over two years I blogged here under the title "A Deeper Love". The central themes were loving God, loving people, taking godly dominion over creation, and sharing the gospel. While I've now stopped blogging on these themes consistently, they still dominate our lives.
Thanks for sharing that link. That was a great article!
