Many times today I've exclaimed "It is our four week anniversary". Dave kindly reminds me that it is actually not an anniversary, because "anni" indicates year! If anything, it is a weekiversary. Whatever it is, it is exciting!
On Saturday four weeks ago, we were surrounded by people who love us . . .
Even people who flew from distant countries to be with us . . .
People who will pray for us . . .
I became Mrs. Drew . . .
A grateful wife of a godly man.
There is only one more thing to say: "Thank you God"!

Awwww. I loved seeing these :-). You both look so happy, and I love the way your dress and all turned out :-).
ReplyDeleteI want to comment on something I really like here, as it immediately caught my attention. Namely, I love how modest those bridesmaid outfits are! I had a terrible time trying to find clothes around that fancy to wear to a wedding--especially ones both attractive and age (early 20s) appropriate. Also, what you picked here appears to be in two pieces, thus giving people more ways to possibly use it later. The skirt (a pretty pink!) could be pretty with another shirt, and the shirt looks appropriate (if paired with a less dressy bottom) for a work environment. So anyhow, I just wanted to express my admiration for your choice.
ReplyDeleteWe've certainly enjoyed seeing all your wedding pictures. You look very happy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You both look very happy :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the dress, Susan, after all our email conversations on the topic :). You were one of the first to see a sneak peek!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lindsy! I'm pleased that someone noticed! I deliberately had the outfits made so that they were modest and so they could be worn again. We married in winter time, so it was important for the bridesmaids to be as warm as possible as well.
Hello Deb & Bron, glad you enjoyed the pictures :).
